20 places - Applications close 30th November 2026
For years, Menu Scientist has helped hotel groups and restaurant brands improve menu performance through pricing, structure, language and the behavioural science of how guests choose. We've turned that methodology into a menu diagnostic tool, and we want it tested on real menus by the people who run them.
WHAT YOU GET
NOW
A free diagnostic of your menu
Prioritised recommendations on your live menu during the test, and a direct say in how the tool develops.
AT LAUNCH
12 months' full access, free
Use the diagnostic across your menus for a full year after launch, at no cost.
AFTER THAT
Founding member pricing
A preferential rate reserved for the operators who helped build it.
How the diagnostic tool works
Built on the same methodology we use with clients, it gives you evidence-led recommendations rather than generic advice.
Add a PDF of a live menu. You can check and correct what the tool reads before any analysis runs.
Upload your menu
It reviews price architecture, section balance, item language and choice architecture across the whole menu.
Get your diagnosis
Recommendations are ranked by impact and effort. Add sales and cost data and it goes further, into margin and menu engineering.
Act on the priorities
Every finding shows the evidence behind it and how confident it is, so you know what's a clear fix and what's worth testing first.
See the reasoning
Each menu version and analysis is saved, so you can compare seasons and see what's improved after each change.

Questions
-
Yes. Testers get the diagnostic during the test and 12 months' full access after launch at no cost. Access is for testers who complete the programme: both analyses, the feedback form and the call.
-
A PDF of at least one live menu. If you can share item-level sales and costs for the same period, you'll also get margin and menu engineering analysis, but it's optional.
-
No, and that's the point. It works, but it's pre-launch. Some recommendations will miss the mark, and we want to hear about those as much as the ones that land.
-
We'll let you know and keep you first in line for launch news. Selection is about getting a balanced mix of venues, not a judgement of your menu.
-
We'll provide an NDA before you share anything. Nothing you share is published or used in case studies without your written permission.
